About Ywenna Carollin

Ywenna Carollin is a Singapore-based jazz pianist, vocalist, and composer — one of the few performers on the local corporate events circuit who brings both accomplished instrumental and vocal performance to the same stage. Her broad musical palette spans jazz, pop, soul, funk, and rock, and she performs in English, Mandarin, and Malay — giving her a natural ability to connect with the diverse, multicultural audiences that define Singapore’s corporate events landscape.

As leader of her band Tokyo Blue, Ywenna has released two instrumental albums and toured and performed in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Korea, Australia, and South Africa — sharing stages with internationally recognised musicians including Jamie Wilson (guitarist for Wang Lee Hom and Jacky Cheung), Malaysian Idol winner Jaclyn Victor, and acclaimed drummer Lewis Pragasam.

She has also performed on Mediacorp television, competing and performing on Encore 巅峰之战 — one of Singapore’s most-watched Mandarin music competition programmes — further cementing her profile as one of Singapore’s most accomplished and recognisable live performers.
